Class 2 have been investigating the history of allotments, through our ‘Dig for Victory’ topic.
They also looked at maps to locate places, looking at where our food comes from and how it is transported to us.

We have been looking at familiar stories during our English and re-enacted
‘The Gruffalo’ story, which made us all laugh!

We went on a sponsored walk to raise funds for Mrs Tilley’s trip to our link school in Mbale Uganda, here we are just setting out to walk along the new community path alongside the Church Village bypass. We had some help from the Duke of Edinburgh group from Ty Coch and raised over £100 to help our friends.
