Senior 1

We have been busy in Senior 1  recently. We have  enjoyed taking part in listening to the Lunar Saxaphone Quartet. They were fantastic and comprised of four saxaphones, a soprano, tenor, alto and baritone saxaphones, all of different sizes and different pitches. We have been learning about Journeys  this term as our theme.
We are learning about transport through the ages, including horse and carriage and the first locomotive. This was built by Richard Trevithick and made it’s first nine mile journey from Penydarren to  Abercynon.

We are learning about Uganda and different aspects of life there in Geography.
It is very interesting and we are enjoying learning about it.

We have links with a school in Mbale, Uganda.
