The Leavers Department provides a dynamic approach to Post 16 education.
We provide different vocational skills including Salon skills, Horticulture, ICT and Hospitality.
We have a state of the art full functioning hair salon. It is called YTC Studios! In which students are able to gain valuable authentic learning experiences.
In the leavers we currently run our own café. It is called Le Pit Stop, the café that will change your gears! We currently serve a range of healthy snacks. Le Pit Stop is open to students every Monday from 10.00a.m to 11.30 a.m, and on Thursday for staff to purchase healthy lunches.
We work with many different outside agencies, including ELITE, Careers Wales, Pupil Voice Wales, Fair Trade Wales, Basic Skills, Education and Business Partnership and Eco Schools.
The Leavers are an award winning class!
