International Schools

A key part of our school development plan  is to develop more international links with schools across Europe. We know there is excellent teaching and learning occurring in all parts of Europe and YTC is looking to tap into some of this knowledge by establishing some great links. We welcomed visitors from Germany in June 2017 and were excited about visiting them  in the Autumn term. We also took pupils to Portugal in 2018 and visited Berlin again in Autumn 2018. Our project was called Europe on a Plate. We visited Portugal again in Spring 2019 and completed the project in June 2019 when pupils from Germany and Portugal visited our school.

We have another project which is aimed at the Primary schools. We have linked with schools in Poland and Romania to learn about Forest schools and hope to have a visit to Poland in the near future.

Ceris Griffiths is our International Schools coordinator, and she helps the school to plan their international visits.
