Digital Competency Partners

Ysgol Ty Coch have  had  the Big Learning Company (BLC) working with our children and young people They  are an innovative, creative technological company o providing state-of-the-art products to schools to provide learning opportunities that make a difference. BLC has provided our pupils with a variety of opportunities for creative activities through technology:

• LEGO WeDo 2.0 builds
• Use google maps for route planning and bus/train timetable

Lego builds have been a huge hit with pupils and we continue to develop the expertise of all staff in this area, having extra STEM support for classes throughout the week.     

The Drone:  the school has a couple of drones, which improves the provision for DCF for the pupils.
