Ysgol Ty Coch held the first Family Values Assembly in October 2013. Since then, it has become a very important part of the school. Once a term, parents are invited to engage with the school to complete a home/school project related to a theme. The idea is that families work on the project at home together and bring the results to school.
The school then holds a special assembly once a term to celebrate this work and give out prizes. Parents and family members are invited to attend this assembly where they also receive an overview of the work being undertaken in school by their child.
Family Values is a fun way to get your whole family involved in your child's education. If you require any additional information, please don't hesitate to contact Rachael Rogers - Head of the Primary Department.
